Health and Safety

This page has some links to key trade union resources on Health and Safety.

Firstly Health and Safety Committees and H&S reps - these functions are covered by law - the best guide is the 'Brown Book' issued by the HSE. There is an online version here http://www.tuc.org.uk/extras/brownbook.pdf

The Trades Union Council meets on the first Thurs of the month at 7pm in Oxford Townhall.
.

Established 1887 the Oxford and District TUC is a democratic organisation made up of volunteers, delegated by union branches, who organise practical solidarity with working people in our district, across the country and internationally. We support trade union education and back campaigns - for instance - against cuts in services, for a living wage for everyone, against workplace bullying, for decent pensions and against imperialist wars.
